Whether it is on the positive or the negative, wherever your focus lies, your energy flows. If you wish to create something new in your life, you must fuel the fire, you must light the flame and maintain. Keeping your energy focused on a goal and offering it support, like water, good nutrition and sunlight will offer a strong foundation.
This applies to every aspect of your life. From career to health and wellness, to love and relationships, to your home and elsewhere, if you want to see life flourish, then you must act where you haven't yet, and continue acting and maintaining where you have acted before. It's about balance and offering the seeds you have planted an opportunity to take root, to thrive where they stand, instead of jumping from place to place all scattered and disassociated, stay connected and centered with your main focus.
To attain a bigger picture vision, little steps must be taken, and while they can grow wild and free fast and steadily, if the seeds in which you planted are not nurtured, then they will not flourish the way they are meant to. You are asked to look at what you are creating, all facets of your being, ask yourself what is needed, what isn't and then remove the weeds and plant new seeds, sowing your garden and painting the picture of life all the same. For each moment you have you take a step into the path you are here to pave.
If you want to achieve a dream, then envision the outcome day to day. Sit in meditation and visualize the space you see yourself in. Visualize the path and don't ask for the how's, but give yourself the time to enjoy what comes about. If your head is always down, you'll miss when the sun comes out and if you fear the rain then your plants, won't get what they need. This is the same with your dreams.
So keep your head held high and trust in the processes you find. Engage the others you cross paths with, ask questions, get insight, open your eyes, continue to paint and then see what shall arise. Keep going, keep tending to that garden you are paving, for one day you will walk that path with all the flowers you planted, celebrating. For the vision you were creating, is the painting your life is taking. And there upon your sun-kissed skin will be the vision you were working with.
All it takes is a simple step, sit in the presence of oneness.
To meditate on a vision you wish to create, place your focus between your brows and center your gaze on the light inside your mind. Trusting this too is the light inside your heart and it is connected and can not break apart.
Then imagine a window appearing before you, as a painter would place each item, experience, form and feeling that you wish to see manifest in your world before you. Through the window you will begin to see a story unfolding, witness how it interacts with the other stories you have been telling yourself if it offers you a sense of freedom and peace then keep reverting your focus back onto this picture. Every time your thoughts veer off the path, simply allow them to return by honoring them. Thanking them for serving you once and giving power to the new ones. The more you allow yourself to maintain focus on your ultimate goals, the bigger picture, and story you wish to unfold, the stronger resonance you will have to manifest them for sure.
Maintain a practice of visualization and focused intention for at least 5-10 minutes a day. If you can do this in the morning each day, this will set you up for a solid day. If you miss it first thing, that's ok, there are many other opportunities to come throughout your day. You'll find a way. Either in the car, or walking from meeting to meeting or even while waiting in that lineup you've been dreading, wherever you are, there is a chance for you to connect, you do not have to expect yourself to sit for hours with a clear head to obtain what desired outcome you wish to manifest. All you need are simple small steps and a culmination of them to paint a larger picture.
It's like "strength in numbers". The more you do it, the easier it will be and there will lay more opportunity for you to experience new things. This we shall cover another day. For now, try this practice out, feel it out, dig around and lay down your plans for the new world you are developing within and without.
